The pool facilities were a total hit with my kids! 💦 They loved it! But the room had a lingering smoke smell, which was a huge letdown.

The leisure club's spacious pool was a delightful escape. it truly felt like a mini-vacation! The helpful staff made everything accessible, allowing us seniors to relax and enjoy without any hassle.

We enjoyed a lovely stay, with an ideal location close to local attractions and friendly staff ready to assist. The breakfast was well-prepared with a variety of choices, and the leisure facilities like the pool and sauna provided a nice way to relax. the room felt a bit dated and could use some updates for a better overall experience.

The Sporting Lodge in Middlesbrough had a fantastic location for my needs. I enjoyed the leisure club facilities, including the pool and sauna. My twin room felt clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxation after a long day. Breakfast offered a great variety and tasted delicious. I noticed the room had some maintenance issues. the toilet didn’t flush properly and the shower felt outdated. I also struggled with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which was nonexistent during my stay. It felt frustrating, especially when I needed to stay connected. Despite these issues, the helpful staff made the experience a bit better by addressing my concerns. I appreciated their friendly demeanor, but I hope they improve the facilities to match their service.

I was particularly impressed by the clean and comfortable twin room, which had easy access to the leisure club and swimming pool, making it very enjoyable for me to relax and unwind without any hassle during my stay.

I appreciated the nice facilities and excellent breakfast, while enjoying the proximity to the beautiful Stewart Park just about 4 km away and the charming Captain Cook Birthplace Museum around 4 km as well, making my weekend strolls unforgettable.

A Memorable Family Getaway!

We enjoyed two fantastic nights in a spacious family room, perfect for our kids. The swimming pool was a highlight, and dinner at the onsite restaurant surprised us with amazing steaks! Tip, Reserve a table early to enjoy the culinary delights without wait.

The room was kinda dated but super clean and spacious! We totally enjoyed the restaurant, especially the breakfast. Big shoutout to Sam at the bar. she was so friendly and helpful. Only hiccup was the noise from events outside our room. But overall, it was a fantastic stay and we'd definitely come back again!

Perfect for a family getaway

Had a great time at the hotel, especially the pool – kids loved it! the breakfast was a real treat. fresh pastries and those mushrooms… incredible! I felt like a king just sitting there, eating while the family chatted away.
